Military DUI

The Military Tribunal I judges hearing the Doc...

We all know that DUI's are now being punished severely if you are in the military. They are being punished by the court, and by your command.

I come from a military family, with members in my family in the military traced from now to the Revolutionary War. I know what it means to get charged with DUI to you and your family.

I chose a career in the law to help people just like my family, and a large percentage of my clients are in the military, and work with me because they know I understand how this will affect their livelihood.
On Base or other Federal installation-

This will be charged either through your command and you will receive NJP or it will be charged in the Federal court as a DUI.
Many lawyers rarely work in the Federal court, and do not understand the system or the law.
I am trained in the UCMJ and in Federal law, and will use both to fight for you.
In the past I have fought for enlisted and officers and am willing to fight just as hard for you.
Some commands are now even dishonorably discharging their service members charged with DUI.
You lawyer should know what you are facing, and be willing to fight for you, on or off base, and have done so in the past.
Off Base-

A civilian DUI will be charged and penalized in California just like any other member of the public. A heroic military career can be used to argue for reduced penalties, but many courts still feel that bad behavior warrants penalties.

My office has argued before to have DUI's dismissed based on these factors, and has won those arguments with prosecutors. Legally that is not a promise of future performance. I believe a person would want an attorney with wins in the past and present.

Many commands are issuing NJP when service members are charged in a civilian court. My office has handled these administrative NJP hearings, and is willing to fight for your future in the military, your ability to defend your country, and your ability to provide for your family.
I will fight for you like I would for my family. Coming from a military background, I know what that promise is worth. Call today to discuss our reasonable rates.
